Awake: 6:54am Temp 35 sleep 6+43 drizzle, then rain overnight @ Nicktown.
Late morning, Nick Skyped us for (1 hr 18 min). Christmas presents for the grandkids talk with more discussion focused on Nick & Eriko's potential home renovation plans.
Next we motored to the Foote Castle & spent about (2) hrs with the grandsons. Carpenter Kevin was very busy the entire time; 1st, installing a storm window...which needed just a little more aluminum shaved off for a better fit. And then, digging a hole in the front yard to have a pole with a lamp. The boys were also busy up on the 3rd floor, each working on his own Lego creation. Matthew continues learning circuits from his Snap Circuit book & testing. Even Andrew appears to be getting a little interested in the field of electricity. And Gregory, he is soon to be a master of the spoon. Later, the (3) older boys all headed to the basement due to a lot of donated toys from their church friends. We preferred to leave @ their shower time, plus the temp was lowering & I didn't want to mess around with the dreaded "black ice." It was a joy to watch the boys playing together.
Dinner: leftover noodles, beef vegetable stew & Como toast.
Late movie: "The Carey Treatment" with James Coburn, Jennifer O'Neill, Pat Hingle, Skye Aubrey, Elizabeth Allen & Alex Dreier. Good solid whodunit set in hospital, where doctor Coburn is determined to clear colleague of murder charge. O'Neil provides love interest in complicated but satisfying mystery, shot in Boston. 1972. Another great story that the Wonder Woman stayed awake for.
Lights out: 11:28pm.
