Awake: 7:08am Temp 37 sleep 6+50 sunny & cold overnight @ Frostproof, FL.

I spent some time this morning talking with Mike, owner of this RV Park. He has a very good reputation & is well liked for helping the people who can’t help themselves in this over (55) gated community. I let him know that we will be leaving tomorrow & heading further south; he tells me that our parking space will be made available anytime we want to spend some more time in his community & I thank him for that opportunity.

Last Friday when we were @ the post office in Frostproof, I noticed that they are setup to renew & process Passports; my passport will expire in April of 2009 so I obtained the forms I need to fill out from Sherry. On Tuesday I called & made an appointment to finish the process. She took my mug shots, checked my paperwork & provided the necessary mailing envelope with postage. Back in our motorhome, I wrote a check to the Department of State & mailed the envelope off.

During my post office time, Kathy dusted our home, cleaned the bathroom, washed the inside windows, vacuumed the carpets & tile, etc.

Before dinner, I took pictures of some of the old trailers in this campground that have been converted to larger & cute looking homes without wheels.

Dinner: almond crusted Tilapia fish with brown rice & a mixed salad.

John B. called from Nicktown: we talk football as in Steelers; weather in Florida vs. Nicktown; computers & various other subjects. I enjoy talking with John.

We watch: ABC news, Jeopardy & the O’Reilly Factor….before, during & after dinner.

Evening movie: “Sylvia Scarlet” with Katharine Hepburn, Cary Grant, Brian Aherne, Edmund Gwenn, Natalie Paley, Dennie Moore, etc. Offbeat, charming comedy-drama; Hepburn & ne’er-do-well father Gwenn take to the road when he gets in trouble. She disguises as a boy as they travel with cockney Grant in touring show. Most unusual film made interesting by performances of Hepburn & Grant in their 1st film together. 1935. ‘Twas a little goofy @ times but never-the-less, quite entertaining.

Lights out: 11:55pm
