Awake: 6:32am Temp 54 sleep 6+27 mostly sunny overnight @ Frostproof, FL.

Around 3:00am this morning, a fast moving front gave us a heavy downpour for about (15) min; we’ve noticed that these fast moving fronts are somewhat the norm in Florida.

Most of our day today was dedicated to watching the Inauguration of our 44th president, Barack Hussein Obama, & the many activities surrounding it starting mid morning & lasting throughout the evening.

Dinner: spicy crab & vermicelli. Very tasty!

Late evening movie: “Morning Glory” with Katharine Hepburn, Adolphe Menjou, Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., C. Aubrey Smith, Mary Duncan. Dated but lovely film from Zoe Akins’ play about stage struck young girl called Eva Lovelace who tries to succeed in N.Y.C. Hepburn won her 1st Oscar for her work on this movie. 1933.

During this movie, we took intermissions & watched some of the Neighborhood Ball, the Biden Home State Ball, the Midwest Ball, & the Marine Ball. Oh-oh what a day!

Lights out: 12:18am
