Awake: 6:05am Temp 62 sleep 6+00 partly cloudy overnight @ Nicktown.

A slightly different routine this am: we exercise for (40) min & then join the KK meeting @ 8:30. After that, we continue our workout for another (1.2) hrs.

During our KK meeting, Ken (a very capable custodian), apologized that he might be interrupting our meeting & alerted us that our RR tire on the Suzuki had low air pressure. I have a tire pressure gage in the back of the car; after our meeting, the air check proved Ken correct.

After our late breakfast, K & I motor to Barnesboro & Al’s tire service. While the tire is being repaired, Kathy goes thrift store looking & then grocery shopping @ Giant Eagle & I visit the Radio Shack & Sherry’s Appliance Store. Tire repair took less than an hr; I pick up Kathy @ Giant Eagle & then return to Nicktown.

We wanted to mow the grass on the inside of our circular drive today & there is a 50% chance of rain forecast, but we start anyway. Kathy had made approx (10—11) trips around (about 30%) when those dark clouds started unleashing waves of fury upon us. We narrowly got the wheelbarrow & mower + ourselves under cover & inside without getting soaked to the gills.

K & I drive to & attend 6:00 pm Mass @ St. Nicholas church.

Dinner: stuffed peppers, whole grain bread & fruit salad.

Watch the Nat’l news; some BBC news & then the O’Reilly Factor.

Matthew had a doctor’s app’t in Pittsburgh today. Kathy calls & talks with Melissa who reports a good trip to & from Pitt, plus a good report on Matthew’s diabetic condition.

Late evening: we watch the travel channel; China: Shangri La.

Lights out: 11:30pm
