Awake: 5:52am Temp 63 sleep 6+37 sunny overnight @ Nicktown.

K & I attend 8:00am Mass & then join the KK meeting. Kathy leaves after (20) min for her commitment today with the 3rd floor walls @ the Foote Castle. Meanwhile, the KK meeting continued for nearly an hr.

Without wheels, I walk to the Krumenacker Hardware store, purchase (3) water filters, walk back to our M. H., eat breakfast & then change the main & secondary filters in pump house # (2); then top off our pure water tank in the M. H.

Next, I begin mowing some tall grass west of our M. H. It takes a long time to do a little mowing since the tall grass is still wet. After a series of unclogging the lawnmower’s shoot, I’ll wait for drier times. Then I saunter down to the lower field looking for cut off tree stumps that haven’t been marked by a flag; (5) more flags I plant.

Back inside the M.H., I call Linda in Anchorage & have her forward our mail to Nicktown.
Kathy reports from Indiana, she is finished & on her way home.

We watch the Nat’s news & then the “O’Reilly Factor.”

Dinner: leftover baked penne with tomatoes, basil & Italian sausage + leftover beef stroganoff with cauliflower & fruit salad & Bing Cherries.

With the end of our rope of energy, we watch DRV movie: “Rope” with James Stewart, John Dall, Farley Granger, Cedric Hardwicke, etc. Two young men kill prep-school pal, just for the thrill of it & challenge themselves by inviting friends & family to their apartment afterward—with the body hidden on the premises. 1948. Interesting; Kathy was glad the movie was short.

High temp=81 Lights out: 11:41
