Awake: 5:56am Temp 66 sleep 6+46 sunny overnight @ Nicktown.

K & I attend 8:00 am Mass & then join the KK meeting, which was sparse due to our self appointed Mayor declaring a fishing day for the fishermen. Since our meeting was short, K & I started our exercising a little earlier getting (1.6) hrs total.

Back @ our coach, Gary C. calls: his message indicated that he & Rosemary would be visiting Nicktown this afternoon regardless if we are in town or not; and would visit if we were.

With such distinguished guests arriving, we get right with the mowing program shortly after breakfast. Kathy the mower is like the Duracell Bunny, she just keeps on mowing (except for when the bag fills up); (9) trips to the forest to dump the spent grass is what we counted. We are finished with cutting the inside circle with thunder in all quads; then store the mower & wheelbarrow under our extended slide; once inside the MH, the weather system moved south & only a few drops were felt.

Unfortunately, with us being outside when Gary called again, he assumed that we were not home & decided not to tour Nicktown after all. Darn! Our loss for trying to make a good impression!

Later, Melissa calls: she asks Kathy for a favor. She would like the 3rd floor playroom walls painted with primer in preparation for a top coat of paint. Kathy agrees to do it tomorrow.

Ernie calls from Johnstown: our Eureka vacuum cleaner parts are in. Eureka!

Dinner: baked penne with tomatoes, basil & Italian sausage.

No movie tonight. We watch “O’Reilly Factor” & some of Samantha Brown’s travels.

Lights out: 11:15pm
