Awake: 6:13am Temp 64 sleep 6+01 fog……mid afternoon TRW’s & heavy rain overnight @ Nicktown, PA.
K & I attend 8:00am Mass & then join the Koffee Klub for 1.5 hrs.
About an hr later, Al & his wife, Donna, pick us up to attend the weekly Rotary meeting. After the meeting, we all do some quick shopping in Barnesboro before returning to Nicktown.
Due to the large lunch @ Rotary, our dinner is skimpy: leftover pizza & a salad.
I squeeze in a little leftover mowing after dinner; now I am officially finished for the season. Just in time though, the heavy rain moved in & so did I.
Evening movie with popcorn: earlier recorded on DVR: “Libeled Lady” with Jean Harlow, William Powell, Myrna Loy, Spencer Tracy, Walter Connolly, etc. Wonderful comedy with the four stars working at full steam; conniving newspaper editor Tracy uses his fiancée (Harlow) & ex-employee (Powell) to get the goods on hot-headed heiress Loy—but everything goes wrong. 1936. Sit back & enjoy; we sure did.
We call Katrina in Denver & leave a message.
High temp=80 Lights out: 12:01am
