Awake: 6:03am Temp 14 sleep 6+35 mostly sunny overnight @ Nicktown.
After the KK meeting, Kathy motored to Barnesboro for her P.T. session. This morning, our forwarded mail from Alaska arrived so, after my breakfast, I began the sorting & opening of envelopes & small packages for the remainder of the morning & some of the afternoon. I also visited the construction workers & discovered that Bernie & Ryan were working on installing the electrical panels in the North wing basement; & another in the South wing of basement + a panel outside for the electrical meter. Around 2:30pm, we motored to the nearby sparse town of Dysart to visit & enjoy our much younger friends: Rosemary & Gary. They normally ply us with good wine & healthy snacks, but today, in honor of the season, Gary served spiked egg nog along with those snacks; also very good. Rosemary made a delicious dinner of meat loaf, baked potato, cold slaw, & corn from their garden.
After a couple games of diminishing bridge, Gary served coffee & pumpkin pie which he made using fresh pumpkin. Another delightful evening; the last for a while as they will be heading south & to Texas right after Christmas for a few months of camping in a warmer climate. Oh, take note of Rosemary's new camera..... and I must admit, she is also the winner of our card game tonight. If I could have worn my new eye glass lenses for tonights game, the score would have been different; however my new lenses haven't arrived yet. It was a lot of fun anyway.
Lights out: 12:10am.
