Awake: 6:03am Temp 55 sleep 6+12 overcast overnight @ Nicktown, PA.

After our Koffee Klub meeting, I purchased (2) small water filters @ the Nicktown hardware store for our portable filter system; these will most likely be used during our fall-winter travels.

Most of the afternoon was spent reading: Kathy read her novel & cooking magazines & I read RV & flying magazines.

Katrina called from Denver; she gave us the latest scoop on her activities one of which is a Triathlon. She has been getting herself strengthened up for the occasion which is tomorrow. She also spent time with Karina who is doing pretty good...authorities have given up on foster care & are now looking for a group home for her.

K & I attended 6:00 pm vigil Mass in Nicktown.

Dinner: homemade fresh tomato, veggie soup, leftover fish, mashed potatoes & gravy from Friday evening's meal.

Evening movie: "The Foreign Correspondent" with Joel McCrea, Laraine Day, Herbert Marshall, George Sanders, Albert Basserman, Robert Benchley, etc. McCrea in title role caught in middle of spy ring with reporters Sanders and Benchley, innocent Day, suspicious father Marshall. Tremendously entertaining film with several vintage Hitchcock showpieces. 1940. Kathy loves those mystery-crime stories.

Lights out: 1:27am.
