Awake: 6:15am Temp 62 sleep 6+30 cloudy...heavy rain overnight @ Nicktown.

After breakfast, we motored to Lilly (23) miles; our plan today was to ride with Corinne & visit my nephew, Eric & his family. When we arrived, Corinne was not ready to go; she was in the basement defrosting their refrigerator & doing other chores. In fact, she wasn't expecting us until next week. Grrrr. I wrote the day & time on my calendar & Kathy, the dispatcher, simply kept that info in her brain. Who was the guilty person? Don't know do ya?

Anyway, we took advantage of "our" goof by spending a little time chatting with Corinne on their back porch & then, riding around Ebensburg's newer suburb looking @ homes, windows, bricks, garages, etc. Continuing toward Nicktown, we toured another newer suburb & did the same.

Back in our motorhome, we called our good friends in Ohio, Mark & Joan, who we have been neglecting all too long. It was a very good call (1hr 50 min); we caught up on their latest activities & vice-versa.

Dinner: Tuna casserole & Italian tuna casserole + a mixed salad.

Nick called from Seattle while walking home from work; most of our discussion centered around: what thoughts & ideas we have for our annual family Christmas gathering. We wanted to get this subject out & early to our family in order to establish plans in advance.

Evening movie: "Billion Dollar Brain" with Michael Caine, Karl Malden, Ed Begley, Oscar Homolka, etc. Third in series that began with THE IPCRESS FILE finds Harry Palmer (Caine) again up to his neck in exciting espionage, this time in Scandinavia. 1967. Great acting & entertainment...if you like this sort of undercover work stuff.

Lights out: 12:12am
