Awake: 6:52am Temp 40 sleep 6+17 sunny overnight @ Bushnell, FL.
K & I walk the campground for (35) min of exercise.
After breakfast, I call Gary J on his cell phone to find out if he is in Florida yet; “no” he says; “now that I’ve sold my business I don’t know if we will be visiting FL this winter.”
Late morning, using my Fluke Multimeter, Gary C & I check his deep cycle marine battery on his RV. We really couldn’t find anything wrong with the battery; it may just be the 1% discharge rate per day that the marine batteries are reputed to have. In comparison, an AGM battery has a discharge rate of 1-2 % per month.
When I return to our motorhome, I crack & eat (10) of my yummy butter nuts.
Mid afternoon, Gary & Rosemary invite us to a game of Pinochle in the campground club house, guys against the gals; we guys were nice, we let them win. After Pinochle, G & I shoot (3) games of 8-ball & discover we are both competitive. Next we invite R & G to join us for wine time with healthy snacks. After another good gab session, they return to their RV, a mere (5) min walk.
Before dinner, my sister, Mary Jo, called from Lodi, CA; we update each other on our respective holiday activities, etc. She reports a good family rendezvous with lots of game playing & TV watching on their flat screen.
Dinner: tuna steak, brown rice pilaf, homegrown corn from my 1st cousin, & stewed tomatoes.
Late movie: “It happened @ the World’s Fair” with Elvis Presley, Joan O’Brien, Gary Lockwood, Yvonne Craig. Entertaining Presley vehicle set @ Seattle world’s Fair, with Elvis & O’Brien brought together by little Ginny Tiu. Elvis sings (10) songs. 1963. I rarely watch an Elvis movie…most are not highly rated; however this one was rated fair but we should have passed on it.
Lights out: 12:22am
