Awake: 7:57am Temp 42 sleep 7+36 sunny overnight @ Punta Gorda, Florida.
About 12:20pm, I began cleaning the roof of our motorhome; then with Kathy’s help, we washed & dried the passenger side & rear end cap of the coach + wheels, only took (4 ½) hrs.
I also spent some time taking covers off another batch of butter nuts & cleaning up the mess I made on the cement patio.
Dinner: crab cakes, brown rice & a mixed salad.
Helen calls from Sarasota, FL; we plan a visit for Sunday @ their winter manufactured home.
Mid evening: Katrina calls from Denver while driving to meet a friend. She updates us on her recent activities: teaching & an attempted different lesson plan; the continuing saga of Karina & her discordant, unhappy life; snowboarding; & chats with Zack. She also had a car question: seems she put Windex in her window washer reservoir instead of solvent & wanted to know how to rectify that.
After Katrina’s call, I call my cousin, Diana, in Port Charlotte, FL & make plans for a rendezvous tomorrow early afternoon.
Late movie: “30 Seconds Over Tokyo” with Van Johnson, Robert Walker, Spencer Tracy, Phyllis Thaxter, Scott McKay, Robert Mitchum, etc. Exciting WWII actioner of 1st American attack on Japan with sturdy cast, guest appearance by Tracy as General Doolittle; 1944. Solid details & a great flick for aviation buffs or war mongers; don’t miss it!
Lights out: 12:53am
