Awake: 6:47am Temp 52 sleep 6+32 sunny overnight @ Nicktown.
K & I join the KK for the 8:30 am meeting; then exercise for (1.9) hrs. After our late breakfast, we baby proof our motorhome the best we can in anticipation of our grandsons visiting this afternoon.
Melissa & the boys arrive around 2:30; they haven’t been in our motorhome for quite some time. We’re not sure how it happened but all (3) boys were like…on their best behavior; even Nathan. He just walked all through the bus without grabbing anything & seemed content to just….be here again; amazing!
Next, we all walk (except Nathan) to the school playground near the community center, where the boys can now run, jump, slide, swing, etc to their hearts’ content. We play with them of course & join them for their afternoon snack. Time goes quickly & then we return to their mini van & say our goodbyes for now. Gosh, the boys were so calm & relaxed this visit, had we known, we could have skipped that entire baby proofing thing.
K & I then walk to 6:00pm Mass & give thanks to God for our wonderful family.
Dinner: leftover meatloaf, gravy, & veggie macaroni with cheese.
My sore throat has moved on; now my voice is more masculine.
While I clean the dishes, we watch the recorded Int’l news.
