Awake: 6:04 am Temp 58 sleep 6+02 fog, then partly sunny overnight @ Nicktown.
K & I attend 8:00 am Mass & then join the KK meeting; Kathy made a Chocolate Zucchini Oatmeal cake for the KK members & we had our largest attendance of the week. How do they know when she is going to bring the goodies! After (1.8) hrs of exercise, we return to our home on wheels.
After breakfast, I clean (2) air condition filters in the living room & kitchen. Then get papers, drawings, pictures, notes, etc all organized & ready for when we meet with our architect sometime this month.
Our blueberry bush supplies us with another (45) or more berries today.
We watch the Nat’l news while having a dinner of: crab cakes, wild rice, mixed fruit salad & whole wheat bread.
I call & talk with Ed in Port Jefferson, Long Island, NY; my ole buddy from the 60’s ….when working & Brookhaven National Laboratory. We chat for over an hr… & maybe sometime later this year, we’ll have a rendezvous.
Finish watching DVR movie: “Return to Me” with David Duchovny, Minnie Driver, Carroll O’Connor, Robert Loggia, Bonnie Hunt, James Belushi, etc. Thoroughly engaging romantic comedy-drama about a man who loses his wife, then chances to meet a woman whose life has been saved by a heart transplant. 2000. This story was indeed heartwarming & a pleasure to watch. Don’t miss it!
