Awake: 5:55am Temp 59 sleep 5+35 sunny overnight @ Nicktown.

K & I attend 8:00am Mass & then join the KK meeting for an hr. No breakfast for me…Rotary day & it’s my turn to drive; pickup Pres Al @ 11:20am with only (1) stop before arriving @ the Cambria Hills Golf Club for our meeting. Today we had a guest speaker from Pittsburgh who talked about Leukemia, Lymphoma & Myeloma. Most of us had no idea of how many young children are stricken with these diseases & die. The cure is yet to be found.

Test lunch from a new vendor: sliced ham, sliced potatoes, coleslaw & a cake that Donna B. baked. After (2) more stops, Al & I return to Nicktown @ 2:15.

Kathy brought Kevin’s weed whacker here yesterday to help clean up our immediate landscape area; now she volunteers to use it on the tall grass (still slightly damp) that clogged the mower yesterday. I must admit, this girl gave that weed whacker a good workout while I was on the opposite side of our M.H. doing other things; she doesn’t complain but emphasizes: “it better be a good movie tonight!”

Dinner: leftover power burger, leftover baked penne with tomatoes, basil & Italian sausage + fruit salad.

No “O’Reilly Factor” or nat’l news.

DVR movie: “Mutiny on the Bounty.” We both agree: (1 hr 24 min) now, the rest tomorrow).

Lights out: 11:37pm
