Awake: 5:46am Temp 54 sleep 5+50 mostly sunny overnight @ Nicktown.
K & I attend 8:00 am Mass & then join the KK. No hot topic today.
After breakfast, I make several phone calls to Verizon about our Ethernet not working; to no avail. The wireless is working fine but Ethernet: nothing.
Then I drive to Cambria Hills Country Club for a Rotary meeting. Al K. is taking some fishing time up north for a week; so we have a mere (9) members present.
Rotary lunch: baked ham, coleslaw, pasta & wrapped peach/cherry blanket for dessert. Leftovers were abundant due to Al not attending so I brought some home for Kathy for dinner.
After the meeting, (4) of us compared notes on the student essays; amazing enough, we concurred on about 98 % of the selected scholarship winners. We were all quite comfortable with our selections.
En route to Nicktown, I make a stop @ the Barnesboro bank; Radio Shack & library; arriving home @ 2:20pm.
Meanwhile, Kathy had spent close to (3) hrs getting her kitchen, bedrooms, etc tuned up on those house plans.
Dinner: leftover plate from Rotary & some leftover salmon salad.
During dinner, we watch the nat’l news & later O’Reilly Factor.
Late evening; Nick calls on Skype: he reports that his business trip to San Antonio & Austen TX was a whirlwind tour, but ….of some success.
Katrina calls on her cell phone while driving; we talk car talk. She suspects a coolant leak due to spots in her garage when parked. I ask her to check her coolant reservoir for fluid when her engine is cool & when she parks @ school, locate the drip area. She agrees to do that tomorrow.
Later evening DVR movie: “Voyage of the Dammed.” Again, I smooth talk Kathy into watching the last half tomorrow & she again scolds me because she is wide awake.
