Today we take more action on our medical plans: forms filled out for electronic funds transfer; check writing & paying in advance for (3) months & later this evening, copies made of our contract with AARP & medical card as proof of our membership.
A Sprint agent calls: finally I am able to control my on-line account with Sprint.
Melissa calls @ 5:09pm. K & Melissa talk for (30) min. The Footes are hanging in there.
Dinner: Kathy’s homemade Chili with noodles & Triscuits.
After dinner, we drive over to the Nugget Casino & take our (3) free turns pushing buttons on a chance of wining Megabucks. I won $10.00 & quickly cashed in & spent the loot on grocery shopping @ Smith’s.
Katrina calls @ 8:44pm while driving back to her condo. She is delighted to have received the package containing a gym bag and clothes that she left at the Foots at Christmas.
DRV movie: “Kitty Foyle” with Ginger Rogers, Dennis Morgan, James Craig, Eduardo Ciannelli, etc. A tearjerker story about the troubled love life of an attractive secretary; Rogers won an Oscar for her performance. 1940. A serious problem where the In-Laws of elite status could not accept their son’s choice of a spouse, who was neither college educated nor of wealthy parents.
