Awake: 6:32am Temp 40 sleep 5+59 sunny & windy overnight @ Pahrump, NV.

My water filter canister continues to be leak proof so I did get lucky on the 2nd fix.

Kathy does (2) loads of laundry while I sit around, read our FMCA magazine, spend time on the computer, etc. I did manage to solve the audio glitch on Skype by accident; while searching in properties & securities, I noticed our Skype audio was being blocked as a precautionary procedure; unblocking brought its return.

Around 3:15pm, the nearby flags were @ rest & the wind calm; we don’t talk the walk, we just start walking. Now the day is beautiful; Kathy brings a jacket, I in a ‘T” shirt. We explore the nearby baseball fields, the soccer field & the skateboarding runs. It feels good to be outdoors again & stretching our legs; Kathy is humming & I am smiling. This is GREAT we clarify to each other. And then….without warning, “Vroom”, cold & strong winds from the north catch us off guard. Smart Kathy wastes no time in getting that jacket on & zipped up; not so smart me in my “T” shirt, shiver within minutes. We high-tail it back to our motorhome ASAP.

Dinner: Salmon burgers with Caesar slaw, broccoli, red peppers & whole grain toast.

DVR movie: “Splash” with Tom Hanks, Daryl Hannah, John Candy, Eugene Levy, Dody Goodman, etc. Entertaining comedy about a man who falls in love with a mermaid, who’s played to perfection by Hannah; buoyant cast, winning gags make this a lot of fun despite a tendency toward over length. 1984. A second opinion: we didn’t fall for this number; Kathy checked out within minutes; every recheck she made, thumbs down & I approve of this message.
High temp=57 Lights out: 12:10am
