Awake: 6:50am Temp 61 sleep 6+00 steady rain, heavy @ times overnight @ Nicktown, PA.

K & I drive to the 8:30am Koffee Klub meeting @ the community center. John B. was our scheduled speaker today so our meeting lasted longer than normal. It was difficult to bring the meeting to a close because the guy is so good. Afterward, Kathy exercises for (60) min & I, using the umbrella, walk back to our bus.

A quick breakfast & then I call Charlie, the electrical tech @ the Newell factory. I must admit, this motorhome to tow car wiring dilemma is beginning to bug me. Charlie has me taking voltage checks, continuity readings, checking relays, wire colors, etc. Finally, he asks if our tail lights & turn signal lights are little round lit up bulbs. “Yes” I tell him. He says: “I know what your problem is” and a laugh follows that comment. Some more high tech discussion continues & then, that chapter of confusion is closed for now. Sorry you engineers out there, but I can’t comfortably reveal the solution to our confusing mystery @ this time. Sometime later, I’ll have a better grip on what & why a simple thing like that would turn up to be seemingly so complicated & confusing.

Mid afternoon, K & I visit Rosemary & Herm L. for 3.2 hrs. Herm was feeling a lot better & was fairly talkative. Rosemary showed off her hostess skills as she served us homemade angel food cake and homemade chocolate chip cookies with some “fresh from their cows” cold milk. We always enjoy visiting with Herm & Rosemary.

Dinner: Stuffed pepper (the pepper from neighbor Chuck), home grown corn on the cob from cousin Florentz & a salad.

Evening movie: “Little Voice” with Jane Horrocks, Michael Caine, Brenda Blethyn, Jim Broadbent, etc. When a sleazy talent agent (Caine) & an equally greasy nightclub owner (Broaddent) discover that the reclusive daughter of a middle-aged shrew has the uncanny ability to sing like Judy Garland & other show-business greats, they smell money. But the mousy girl, known as Little Voice, sings for other reasons entirely. 1998. You gotta see it to believe it: she does her own singing.

High temp=63 Lights out: 12:00 midnight
