Awake: 7:33am Temp 59 sleep 7+03 cloudy…..then gentle rain off & on all day & evening overnight @ Nicktown, Pa.

Kathy makes a great omelet for our breakfast this morning. With rain threatening soon, on comes my mowing clothes & out in the field I go. The 1st hr was great, cool, breezy & fresh; the 2nd hr I held an umbrella with one hand, steered & used the hydraulic lifting lever of the brush hog platform with the other hand. Finally I gave in to Mother Nature’s quest: to relax on a Sunday. Now only about 5% remains yet to mow.

And relaxing we did; a little reading, a little e-mail, etc, etc.

Dinner: Leftover beef short ribs, broccoli; whole wheat noodles & a salad.

Evening movie: “Executive Suite” with William Holden, June Allyson, Barbara Stanwyck, Fredric March, Walter Pidgeon, Louis Calhern, Shelley Winters, etc. Slick, multifaceted story of company power struggle with top cast. 1954. Very good; inspiring.

We call Nick in Seattle after our movie. Earlier today, he returned from another Moscow trip. We talk for close to an hr & then, we could feel his jet lag symptoms moving in.

High temp=59 Lights out: 12:32am
