Awake: 6:03am Temp 57 sleep 6+02 sunny overnight @ Nicktown, PA.

Tom H. was our special guest @ our koffee klub this morning. Tom always brings some high tech talk & scientific stories with him when he visits Nicktown & a few of our group really enjoy that kind of talk. Unfortunately he has to travel across several states to visit his aging mother but she is not the only person that appreciates those visits.

After breakfast, K & I motored to Miners Hospital where Kathy got her mammogram done; it didn't take long (30) min, so I casually waited & read a magazine.

Next, we visited my (2) 1st cousins: Bernie & Richard @ Haida Village; Bernie was in his powered wheelchair outside taking in the nice weather & Richard was inside watching some good TV. I offered to wheel Richard outside but he told me the wind was too cold for him today. We had some good chats with both of them individually. I continue to be amazed @ Richard's good mind & memory & am pleased to see Bernie talking so much better.

From here, we motored to Barnesboro; Kathy bought some Bing cherries at Giant Eagle while I shopped for some guitar wire to fix a couple of cheese cutters.

Dinner: Italian tuna casserole, mixed salad & fruit salad.

Evening movie: "Knight Without Armor" with Marlene Dietrich, Robert Donat, Irene Vanbrugh, Herbert Lomas, etc. Secret agent Donat helps countess Dietrich flee Russian revolutionaries. Sumptuous production, charismatic stars. 1937. Good story; however, be alert during the revolution...which side is winning? The White Army or the Red Army! And what side does Donat take?

Lights out: 11:56pm
