Awake: 6:38am Temp 67 sleep 6+30 partly sunny overnight @ Nicktown.

Kathy makes a ham & veggie omelet with toast for our breakfast. Then she watches her political programs on TV while I clean up dishes & spend some time on our computer. Occasionally, depending on the issue, I join her in trying to understand our government’s direction in their attempts @ healing our economy, etc.

Gary C calls: we both share our items of interest with each other; many items are highly classified.

Corinne calls & gives us a rather good report on her retreat & Pittsburgh activities.

We call Mary Jo in Lodi, CA. She & Ed had a wonderful mini vacation together @ Lake Tahoe last week. It was the 1st time they vacationed together since 1986. Smoke from the CA fires reduced their visibility of beautiful Lake Tahoe however, but they made up for it in the beautiful casinos & hotel.

Traveling Katrina calls from Denver; she returned home safely after some (5000) thousand miles. Everything went better than she had imagined; seeing her close friends in Jackson Hole, WY & Laura in Bozeman; camping in Glacier Nat’l Park; spending time with Nick, Eriko & Jerry & staying with Zack & Katie in Seattle; attending the wedding of her good friend, Angie, in Portland with many of their high school friends; visiting other friends in Santa Rosa & Sacramento, CA; hiking in Utah with some of her Denver friends; & biking in Cresta Butte, CO with more of her Denver friends…PHEW!!
What a trip! She had no car problems what-so-ever & Lady Garmin was a good companion. We were thankful to learn that all went so well.

Start late DVR move: “Three Came Home.” We watch 1hr 4 min & will finish tomorrow.

Lights out: 11:33pm
