Awake: 5:00am Temp 49 sleep 5+43 rain overnight @ Nicktown.

K & I attend 8:00 am Mass & then join the KK for over an hr; today’s hot topic: Food Waste.

After breakfast, I visit Carol @ the Enchanted Gardens; we discuss the church hall’s air conditioning; weddings; her husband Dave & his classic cars, her (90) yr old mother, oil prices, the classic car show in May, etc. Carol & I always have a lot to talk about. She’s a busy gal; I had to make an appointment for this yak session. Next, I mail Kathy’s package at the post office.

Mid afternoon, K & I review our slide show of pictures that we might use as ideas for home building.

Dinner: Pork chops, broccoli, fried noodles & mixed salad.

Kathy called Melissa to check on her health; she’s feeling much better. They placed an ad on line for one free metal shed. (5) interested parties responded and one lucky soul came with a truck & hauled it off. Now Kevin & I can get busy preparing the area for the new shed we’re going to build.

DVR movie: We finish watching: “That Hamilton Woman” with Vivien Leigh, Laurence Olivier, Alan Mowbray, Sara Allgood, Gladys Cooper etc, Olivier & Leigh….both breathtakingly beautiful…enact ill-fated historical romance of Lord Admiral Nelson & Lady Emma Hamilton in American made film intended to spur pro-British feelings. P.S. It was Winston Churchill’s favorite movie. 1941. Even though it took (3) nights to finish, it was well worth the wait. Be like Winston, watch it more than once.

Also DVR movie: “The Little Red Pony.” We watch ½ of this story. I apologize to Kathy that I find this movie…s-l-o-w… I would rather read Eileen’s “Memories of Growing up in Kirsch Town.” She reluctantly agreed but questioned: “why when I’m wide awake, do you decide you don’t want to finish the movie?!”
High today: 49 Lights out: 11:28pm
